Wembley work carries on safely with the help of internal hoarding system

During this year’s FA Community Shield, located at the home of English football, Wembley, we found ourselves at the stadium. Although we weren’t there to watch the football, we did play a key role in the ongoing renovation work taking place there. Pacific Building were contracted to perform bar renovation work at the stadium and they got in touch with us regarding our exceptional internal hoarding system.

Segregating refurbishment work with internal hoardings

In order for Pacific Building to perform their work safely, they needed a way of segregating working areas from the rest of the stadium. After being given the go-ahead from Pacific we made our way to the stadium and set about installing our internal hoarding system. Its unique design enabled a fast-fit installation on location and we were able to successfully divide the two zones promptly and efficiently. This ensured that renovation work could continue and the thousands of football fans making their way inside the stadium to see Manchester City beat Chelsea 2-0, courtesy of two Sergio Aguero goals, were kept safely away from work areas.

Attendees kept aware of developments thanks to eye-catching graphics

To help keep attendees aware of ongoing work, a range of graphics were embedded onto the internal site hoarding. Whilst we didn’t provide the graphics this time, Plasloc is able to embed our internal hoarding with graphics, if required. The graphics were used to inform Wembley attendees about: when renovation work would be finished, a number of ongoing events at the stadium and for other advertisement purposes.

Readily available for use another day

After renovation work had been completed, our team of expert installers made their way back to Wembley to remove our internal hoarding system. As easy to remove as it is to install, the hoardings were quickly removed, granting access to the newly renovated bar. The attractiveness of our hoarding solution means they can be used multiple times across numerous fit-out and construction projects. They also come with an added environmental benefit, having been constructed from 100% post-consumer or post-industrial recycled PVC-U.
